Cicada Audio's CoAx Horn CH69.2W speakers boast a unique design optimized for listening to music on the road. A heavy-duty aluminum basket houses a 6"x9" treated paper cone and an aluminum dome tweeter in a horn assembly, ensuring professional-grade performance on your motorcycle. The speakers also offer exceptional power handling of up to 250 watts RMS and an impressive 95 dB efficiency rating. Translation? These things will get loud when you need them to.

Heat and moisture are the enemy

Cicada Audio goes the extra mile to build speakers that stand up to life on the highway. The aluminum basket uses patented venting to remove heat from the motor structure, and the 2" voice coil uses highly conductive, low-resistance OFC copper wire that will stand up to the heat generated by heavy play. Even the woofer's lightweight neodymium magnet structure is designed to deal with excessive heat. The Nanofram™ horn cover keeps rain out of the tweeter assembly while the water-resistant treated paper cone will give you years of life.

Crossover network

These Cicada Audio speakers come with a custom-tooled encased 12dB per octave crossover. You'll need to use this crossover for every installation, unless you are using an active crossover set above 4kHz or an amplifier with built-in DSP.
