Product details
Your Audi R8 is a great vehicle, but its dashboard design makes it difficult to upgrade the factory radio. The iDatalink KIT-R8 factory system adapter (along with the Maestro ADS-MRR or MRR2 module, sold separately) gives you everything you need to install an iDatalink-ready double-DIN (4") aftermarket stereo and wire it up to your vehicle. The dash panel integrates pushbutton controls for frequently-used radio functions. The interface module retains your steering wheel audio controls, factory backup camera, and factory amplifier, and allows you to display vehicle information and gauges on your new stereo's screen. It also supplies the outputs (parking brake, reverse, vehicle speed sense [V.S.S.]) required to install video and navigation-ready receivers, and provides accessory power and illumination outputs.
