Find your music

This JVC gives you all kinds of radio options, with controls for Pandora® and SiriusXM (optional satellite radio tuner and subscription required). You can play and charge your iPhone® or check out a USB drive filled with high-res FLAC files (up to 24-bit/96kHz) through the front-panel USB port. Android™ users — you can play and control music using Bluetooth®. JVC rounds out the connectivity with a front aux input for a portable music player. If you're into local radio stations and CDs, this receiver can handle those too.

Wireless too!

The KD-T92MBS lets you pair two Bluetooth-equipped phones and quickly switch between them for hands-free calling. You can wirelessly stream and control the playback functions of just about any Internet radio service, including Spotify, TIDAL, and Qobuz. You can also stream stored music, audiobooks, and podcasts from the phone that's active. JVC also added a little fun to audio streaming with their Streaming DJ feature — pair five phones so everybody can pick their tunes for the ultimate playlist (just remember to share). Bluetooth also lets you control this stereo directly from your iPhone or Android phone by downloading JVC's free Remote app.

All-weather use

A marine-rated receiver has to stand up to salt, spray, sunlight, and all kinds of rough weather. JVC designed the KD-T92MBS specifically for outdoor environments, with a conformal-coated circuit board that helps prevent moisture-related damage. These rugged features keep the music playing so you can relax and enjoy yourself.

Tweak and expand

Once your favorite tunes are going, you can refine your sound with the onboard 13-band graphic equalizer and digital time alignment. JVC's K2 technology spruces up the sound of overly compressed digital music (like MP3 files and Bluetooth audio) with some clever processing. Since many vehicle speaker locations are far from ideal, the KD-T92MBS offers Sound Lift, which adjusts your music's frequencies to virtually "raise" your speakers for better, more natural imaging.

The KD-T92MBS includes front, rear, and subwoofer 4-volt preamp outputs, which is great news for anyone who wants an ultra-clean signal to add amplifiers for a more powerful system for their vehicle. Its 2-zone variable color illumination lets you pick just the right look in your vessel. Optional wired or wireless marine remotes from JVC let you add control stations around your boat.
