The 6-1/2" woofer's UV-resistant polypropylene cone is attached to the frame with a durable butyl rubber surround and stabilized with a woven aramid fiber spider that resists weather-and temperature related degradation.

MB Quart mounts the 1" titanium dome tweeter securely in the grille for superior high-frequency dispersion, and eliminating the possibility of water leaking into the woofer's internal works. These efficient speakers deliver maximum output without stressing your amplifier.

Bring big-time power to your tower

MB Quart marine speakers will perform in extreme conditions, with water-resistant components and super-strong composite baskets, magnet covers and grilles. The exterior surfaces are coated with special UV-resistant paint that stands up to broiling sunlight. Inside, the crossover network is conformal-coated to protect against fresh and salt water spray, not to mention dust and sand. In fact, MB Quart tower speakers are IP67-rated, which means they meet the highest standards of weather resistance

Versatile mounting options

The package includes 11 hardware mounting options, ranging from 1-1/2" to 2-3/4". A centering ring allows the speaker to tip left or right when mounted to an arced mount. A steel mounting plate between the pipe mount and the enclosure adds additional strength. All mounting hardware is die-cast for strength and powder-coated to withstand damaging sunlight, spray, and dust.
