This stereo installation kit is engineered to help you install an aftermarket shallow-mount or an "L" shaped chassis, 4" tall (Double-DIN) radio into the original vehicle dashboard. This dash kit helps make radio replacement easier and is painted scratch-resistant matte black to match the original look and feel of the vehicle's dashboard. Modifications to the factory dashboard trim panel and sub-dash are required for this installation. A cutting template and instructions are included. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldn't offer but requires this dash kit to make it fit.

This kit is designed to only be used with shallow-mount radios or radios with an "L" shaped chassis design, with the chassis located at the top of the screen that includes Sony models: XAV-AX100, XAV-AX1000, XAV-AX200, XAV-A500, and XAV-V10BT (Refer to the radio manufacturer for current models)
